Over two days, you will gain essential skills for both armed and unarmed defense, building the confidence and awareness needed to navigate and respond to potential threats in everyday life. Day 1: Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Day 1 focuses on building a solid foundation for personal and home defense. Whether you're new to firearms or looking to enhance your knowledge, this session covers the critical skills and legal responsibilities involved in carrying a concealed firearm and defending your home. Topics Covered: - Developing a Personal & Home Defense Plan: Learn how to create a comprehensive protection plan for your home and everyday life. - Firearm Basics & Defensive Shooting Fundamentals: Get familiar with the mechanics of your firearm and learn techniques for defensive shooting. - Legal Use of Force: Understand the laws governing self-defense, including when and how to use force responsibly. - Situational Awareness & Avoidance: Learn how to identify potential threats and avoid dangerous situations before they escalate. - Hands-On Firearm Training: Build your confidence through instructor-guided shooting practice, with a focus on accuracy and control under stress. Day 2: Unarmed Defense & Situational Confidence Day 2 is dedicated to empowering you with unarmed defense skills and techniques that will help you stay safe in public or during unexpected encounters. These practical exercises are designed to be easy to learn and highly effective, giving you the tools to protect yourself even when unarmed. Topics Covered: - Unarmed Defense Considerations: Learn how to carry yourself confidently and project strength, reducing the likelihood of being targeted. - Body Language & Situational Posture: Discover how posture and body language can serve as deterrents, helping you avoid confrontations. - Use of Improvised Weapons: Learn how to turn everyday objects like pens, keys, or bags into tools for self-defense. - Simple Escapes & Strikes: Practice simple but effective escapes from grabs and holds, as well as basic strikes designed for maximum impact with minimal strength. - How to Avoid Looking Like a Victim: Understand the behaviors that can make someone appear vulnerable and how to adopt habits that make you a less likely target. - Real-World Exercises: Engage in interactive, hands-on scenarios where you'll apply unarmed defense techniques and situational awareness strategies in a safe, controlled environment.
